Welcome to Pirlo Calligraphy. Originally from Huizhou, Anhui, the historic heart of traditional Chinese artistry. I now find my inspiration in the serene landscapes of South Australia.
Every piece creates a bridge between ancient tradition and modern aesthetics. I am personally dedicated to every step of the process, from selecting the finest materials and brushing each stroke, to framing and dispatching the final work from my Adelaide studio. How I hand made every piece
Every single Chinese calligraphy artwork you see is personally hand-written by me. It is never mass-produced or printed. What you receive is truly one of a kind.
After the writing, I hand-mount the artwork onto backing paper, and then frame it. This process is essential for long-term preservation as it flattens the paper and protects the artwork from wrinkles, moisture, and damage over time.
I use paper that is sourced entirely from recycled and sustainable materials. This is my way of supporting the environment while still creating timeless beauty.
